Australian IT innovator, Netbox Blue, is pleased to announce a partnership with the Association of Independent Schools Western Australia.
The partnership recognizes Netbox Blue’s commitment to providing a safe and secure internet and email environment for students and staff and gives the 150 member schools of AISWA preferential pricing.
The Netbox SecurED solution provides internet and email filtering and management tools that prevent inappropriate web browsing and block inappropriate language on email and on common social media communications (including Facebook). The world-class security features control spam and other malware, while the new SecurED Laptop Protector allows schools to monitor and control internet and email use on school-owned laptops outside the school network.
"The SecurED product is a great solution due in part to its graphical user interface, rich management software and easy deployment model." AISWA ICT Strategic Planning Consultant Eli Salant says. "We look forward to a long and productive relationship with Netbox Blue."
Netbox Blue Chairman John Fison has also welcomed the partnership.
“We’re seeing schools making more and more use of the internet, of social media and providing laptops for their students,” Mr Fison says. “These are all exciting tools for education but they come with a myriad of risks. The SecurED solution enables schools to tackle those risks, to use the internet and email environment securely and productively, without putting a massive burden on the IT department. We are delighted to be working with AISWA to provide their member schools with cutting edge technology to help deliver their Duty of Care.”
